What's your favorite band (or artist) and why?

The favorite band part is easy of course, but as for the why part, give me a real reason other than they're "catchy". I personally like a band called "Thrice". The music is upbeat, well written lyrics with biblical influences, and instruments that send chills. (Their guitar is fun to play, Haha)
