Is it acceptable to wear shorts if you've got hairy legs?

I've got hairy legs so I've always felt a bit self-conscious about wearing shorts or bermudas during the summer. Most of the time I wear long jeans, even when I'm on holidays. I've never learned to swim (not because of my hairy legs lol) so that's not a problem for me. I'm not going to shave my legs as that's too girly. I'm just wondering if people would think it unpleasant to see a man in public with very hairy legs wearing shorts/bermudas.
